February’s March is an exciting new instrumental project from rock band Atomsplit’s founder Doug “DSazster” Davenport.
This music harkens back to my early days as a musician and being in what I we more or less called an “old wave” band. We were influenced by the alternative and college rock of the late 80s and early 90s and set out make music like that. Jangly guitars with chorus effects (the classic Roland JC-120 sound), intertwining guitar parts, cool drum beats and percussion elements.
